Company background

InPractice Solutions Pty Ltd was established in Sydney in July 2005. Although a young company, its Managing Directors have over 15 years experience between them in the financial planning industry.

Backed by a team of highly qualified and experienced financial paraplanners (based in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra) IT and recruitment specialists, InPractice Solutions can provide a total support system for small and large financial organisations throughout Australia.

Profiles of Managing Directors

InPractice Solutions' Managing Director, Megan Thomson (B.Com., DFS) obtained her Bachelor of Commerce at Griffith University in 1998; she also holds a Diploma of Financial Services.

Megan began her financial planning career with Amicus Financial Group in Brisbane in 1999. She moved on to work with Douglas Wenck in July 2000 until her appointment as Senior Paraplanner with AXA Australia in early 2002. While employed by AXA Australia, she serviced their Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices.

At the beginning of 2004, Megan started working as a Freelance Paraplanner servicing financial advisers Australia-wide. She partnered with InPractice Solutions in July 2006.

In the financial industry, the name Megan Thomson
is synonymous with service excellence.

In Practice Solutions' other Managing Director, has been working with Banking Institutions and Planners, both within a Dealer environment or a Self Owned Dealers Licence environment, for the past 8 years. Her knowledge and experience enable In Practice Solutions to have a clear understanding of how different Organisations and Practices manage their businesses.

This extensive knowledge has lead to her having specialised experience within Managing Paraplanning Units, Practice Management and Delivering Training and Seminars within the Financial Planning Sector. She also current holds membership with the Financial Planning Association.
